Warranty period for CS series

The warranty period for 2022 Changan models begins on the date the vehicle is first delivered or put into use (in-service date) for 6 years or 250,000 KM whichever comes first. Terms and conditions apply.

Component with Limited Warranty

• The Streeting columns, steering gear, compressor, generator, drive shaft left, fuel pump, window lifter, combination lamp, Tail lamp, out rear-view mirror, engine mounting, shift operation mechanism, combination meter, power seat warranty coverage is for 60 months or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
• The battery warranty coverage is for 12 months or 20,000KM, whichever comes first.
• The Maintenance parts including Air filter, A/C filter, Oil filter, Fuel filter, Spark plugs (only for structural defect), Brake pads/Brake linings, Clutch disk, Tires, Remote control battery, Bulb, Wiper blade, Fuse, and General relay**(integrated control unit is not included) warranty coverage is for 3 months or 5,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
• The Rust, painting, rubber parts, Absorber, Entertaintment & infotainment system warranty coverage is for 36 months or 100,000km (whichever comes first).

Warranty period for UNI Series

The warranty period for 2023 UNI models begins on the date the vehicle is first delivered or put into use (in-service date) for 6 years unlimited mileage. Terms and conditions apply.

Component with Limited Warranty

• The Streeting columns, steering gear, compressor, generator, drive shaft left, fuel pump, window lifter, combination lamp, Tail lamp, out rear-view mirror, engine mounting, shift operation mechanism, combination meter, power seat warranty coverage is for 60 months or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
• The battery warranty coverage is for 12 months or 20,000KM, whichever comes first.
• The Maintenance parts including Air filter, A/C filter, Oil filter, Fuel filter, Spark plugs (only for structural defect), Brake pads/Brake linings, Clutch disk, Tires, Remote control battery, Bulb, Wiper blade, Fuse, and General relay**(integrated control unit is not included) warranty coverage is for 3 months or 5,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
• The Rust, painting, rubber parts, Absorber, Entertaintment & infotainment system warranty coverage is for 36 months or 100,000km (whichever comes first).

Owner’s responsibility

It is the owner's responsibility to service the vehicle every 6 months or 10,000 KM whichever comes first at the Authorized Changan service centers. If not so, the warranty will be void. 

What is not covered

• Regular consumables such as lubricants, oils, coolant, and A/C refrigerant
• Repairs and adjustments caused by improper maintenance, lack of required maintenance of the use of fluids other than the fluids specified in your Owner’s Manual are not covered.
• Failure on a Vehicle on which the odometer mileage has been altered or changed so that vehicle mileage cannot be readily ascertained is not covered
• Chips, scratches, or damage of any kind is not covered and Cosmetic or surface corrosion from stone chips or scratches in the paint is not covered as well. 
• Damage or surface corrosion from the environment such as acid rain, airborne fall-out (Chemicals, tree sap, etc.), salt, hail, windstorms, lightning, floods are not covered.
• Repairs and adjustments required as a result of misuse (e.g.racing, overloading), negligence, modification, alteration, tampering, disconnection, improper adjustments or repairs, accident, and use of add-on parts/materials or non-genuine parts are not covered.
• Rubber parts mean the independent Rubber part including the Hone, pipe of the water/coolant system.
